Elena Vladimirovna Roslyakova (Елена Владимировна Рослякова; 8 July 1987) known professionally as Vlada Roslyakova, is a Russian-American model and actress.

She has appeared on more than 400 magazine covers, including Elle and Vogue.

Roslyakova was born on 8 July 1987 in Omsk, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union to a lower class family.

She has been called by Vogue Paris one of the best models of the 2000s decade and one of the most influential Russian models of all time, alongside Natalia Vodianova and Natasha Poly.

Roslyakova was discovered in her home town Omsk, which she would sign to her mother agency in 2003.

Her mother Olga was okay with her doing modeling as a career but her father Vladimir was scared to let her go as he was a police officer at the time, but her mother convinced him to let her go.

At the start of her modeling career, Roslyakova changed her name from Elena to Vlada in order to distinguish herself from another model named Elena Rosenkova.
