Hayden married actress Nikki Danielle Moore in June 2005; they were divorced in 2021.

They have a son and a daughter.

2008

In film, Hayden had a major role in The House Bunny (2008) and the lead role in the 2011 horror film State of Emergency.

On TV, he starred in the Hulu comedy mockumentary series Battleground in 2012.

He had a regular role on The Catch, and recurring roles on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and SEAL Team.

He is best known for his work in the ABC comedy-drama series The Catch (2016–17) and the Grey's Anatomy spinoff Station 19, both produced by Shondaland, and also has a recurring role in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Hayden was born in Northfield, Vermont, and is of half-Irish and half-Korean descent.

He won a soccer scholarship to the University of Vermont, where he was an English major but realized that acting was his primary interest; he moved to Los Angeles after graduation to pursue an acting career.

He has since appeared in Wild Oats and the sports comedy Undrafted (both 2016).
