Fabrizio Romano

Fabrizio Romano (born 21 February 1993) is an Italian sports journalist.

He specializes in news about football transfers, and is known for using the catchphrase "Here we go!"

when announcing a transfer deal.

Romano was born in Naples on 21 February 1993 and attended Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.

He is multilingual, able to speak English, Spanish, and Italian.

Romano is a fan of EFL Championship club Watford.

Romano started writing about football in 2009, while still studying in high school.

His career as a football transfer journalist began in 2011, after receiving inside information from an Italian agent in Barcelona regarding then-FC Barcelona player Mauro Icardi.

Since joining Sky Sport Italy in 2012, he has created and built contacts with clubs, agents and intermediaries all over Europe.

Romano also works as a reporter for The Guardian and CBS Sports.

He is based in Milan.
