Connor McDavid, born on January 13, 1997, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, is a professional ice hockey player who serves as the captain of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Widely considered one of the best players in the world, McDavid's play is characterized by his extraordinary speed, vision, and ability to create scoring opportunities.
