She won a Leo Award for her role in Normal.
She was also nominated for a Gemini Award for her portrayal of the character of Francine Reardon in Intelligence, who is the cocaine and alcohol addict ex-wife of a West Coast crime boss.

She attended an arts high school in Toronto, majoring in visual arts.
She later studied acting at the University of British Columbia.
